Infant (1 Month to 1 Years of Age)
Our Babies are cared for by loving, experienced caregivers. We work with you to determine the best schedule for your infants. A pediatric nurse works with staff and parents to assure proper development. Our babies are held, hugged and loved. Food and diapers must be provided by parents. Each infant will be assigned a personal crib and cubbie for items brought from home.
Toddlers (1-3 Years of Age)
Ages one year to three years of age are cared for and taught by trained caregivers. Toddlers’ curriculum includes large muscle development and small manipulative skills, arts and crafts – including finger painting, coloring, play-dough, singing and finger plays. Children are read to and encouraged to join in on all activities.
We assist Mom and Dad in Potty training. Two snacks and a hot lunch are provided for your toddler every day. Parents must provide diapers which they can store in each child’s personal cubbie.
Preschool and Full-time Daycare (3-5 Years of Age)
Children three to five years of age are divided into groups by age and ability, those children needing additional development work are put in an appropriate preschool class. Preschool runs each day from 9am to 11:30am for all children here during those times. Parents are welcome to be involved with the education of their child and give ideas.
The concepts covered during preschool hours include: Reading, Readiness, Alphabet, Small Manipulative -i.e. cutting – and large Muscle Development.
Our Early childhood program provides care, protection and continuous development educational experiences in the following areas:
Physical
Our center has required space indoors and outdoors for each child to have room to explore and play. We have complete sanitary toilet facilities. Our bathrooms and entire facility are cleaned each night by our janitor. During the academic year we educate each child on hygiene and basic self help skills. A health nurse comes once a month to check infants. Small and large motor skills are emphasized according to child’s individual stages of development.
Social/Emotional
We have a Christian emphasis and attitude education which encourages loving, sharing, caring and giving. Our classroom program is balanced to satisfy the individual needs of the child.
Cognitive
Our program is directed towards each child’s individual stage of development. Included are communication skills and a Preschool Curriculum designed to prepare each child for grade school enrollment.
Before and After School Care (5-11 Years of Age)
As a caregiver and educational agency, we desire to provide care for school children that stimulates but does not exhaust the child. Full programs are developed to do this and are carried through by our experienced staff.
Children are involved in arts and crafts, musicals, plays, and literature. Snacks are provided after school.
